Goal
To promote the values and welfare of casuals and part time workers at work place, and to ensure equity and their contribution to the economy of the states and the nation are recognised and rewarded accordingly.
Objectives

To work with both federal and state governments enact legislation to achieve better outcomes for casuals and permanent part time workers right across the country.

Dialogue with federal and state government create a national policy on casuals and permanent part time work force in the country.

Establish and maintain a good working partnership relationship with both the state and federal governments and the private sector.

Change the attitude and mindset of employers by educating them to value workers as assets and not liabilities.

Promote casual and part time workers rights and welfare by bilateral agreements and common understanding with allied partners in the labour market through memorandum of understanding.

Promote better understanding and mutual cooperation between employees and employers through our new innovative concept approach of “bonding partnership relationship”, to achieve a common goal of productivity and profitability for benefit of both parties.

Establish and maintain a well structured communication network with those classed low to middle income through website and news letter

Establish and maintain a data base system of low income workers in the states and the commonwealth

Engage in research of labour force trends for future forecasts and planning purposes

Set up branch Offices in each state to better facilitate concerns of low income workforce

Work with governments through minister for Labour and Employment of each state and federal government to ensure dialogue of both parties on matters of labour and employment

Listen carefully to concerns of any individual worker and resolve those concerns through diplomatic process and negotiations

Ensure staff employed by the association strictly comply with confidentiality of information for protection of its members

Set up appropriate protocol for interaction with casual and permanent workers movement globally and to promote the association agendas on all fronts of globalise market forces aligned with utilisation of labour force

To have a political voice representative of our agendas in state and federal parliaments

Establish a representative lobby group or engage one to represent casuals and permanent part time workers in dealing with industrial relations issues.

Ensure employers comply with approved level rates stipulated in the approved awards or under workplace agreements.

Establish a team to represent workers health and safety needs with workplace standards

Liaise and dialogue with workplace standards to conduct health and safety audits at workplace to ensure compliance before workers can commence work

Establish financial institutions such as Savings and Loans Society and private Super Scheme independent of the association to meet financial needs of our members

Set up a job employment agency independent from the association to search and provide employment for long-term job seekers and ordinary job seekers.

Be one massive unified voice representative of all casuals and permanent part time workers in the country and to gather and unite low income workers under one umbrella.

Ensure financial accountability and corporate functioning of the association’s establishments prudent under the model rules of incorporation and pertain to audit checks.

Promote the organisation’s agendas in a positive manner and to ensure office holders promote the association’s affairs at the forefront of their undertakings

Enhance cooperation with governments and industry achieve socio-economic climate conducive to growth and development of the nation well into the future

Work with governments and other economic institutions redesign policies to achieve greater income equality by redistributing income from the more affluent to the poorer groups in society. This would reduce the gap between the rich and the poor.
